Planb Hotel - Living Chamonix

Spacious room with fine views, but communal areas were filled with noisy kids.

Perfect 10/10 experience there. Fairly clean and top quality hotel, very friendly staff and new-fashioned rooms. Outstanding food for good breakfast with tasty omelette. Very good customer service. Magnificent and unbeatable location, a couple of blocks away from Step Into the Void. Found in an excellent part of the town.

The location is great, 5 minutes' walk to Aiguille du Midi. The breakfasts is satisfactory with a great selection of food.

great vibe but dining could improve

The hotel had a lively atmosphere, especially around the bar area, made our evenings enjoyable. We appreciated the wide range of activities, from bowling to relaxing in the lounge. The mountain view from our room was fine.

Dinner options could use enhancement.

I had an amazing stay here! The stylish design and cozy lounge with games were fantastic, and the breakfast spread was delicious, especially the fresh pastries. Only downside was the lack of air conditioning in the room, which was tough during the warm days.

The double room was comfortable and clean. Noise from the nearby bus station made it difficult to sleep at night. The parking garage was challenging to navigate with a larger vehicle, which could be improved for guest convenience.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the city center and close to a supermarket. Our double room with a mountain view was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the hotel had fun activities for everyone, like billiards and mini bowling. We really felt at home here.

The hotel offers a fun billiards area that was a hit for the family. The open-plan play area kept the kids entertained while we enjoyed our meals. The bar atmosphere was relaxing and it felt close to everything.

My children wished for more child-friendly dining options.

The quadruple room was spacious with a seating area and a kitchenette. We had a tv and a cozy sofa. The bathroom was great with a shower and free toiletries. Perfect location near the bus station. Breakfast had freshly baked croissants and good coffee. Plus, the spa offered relaxing massages.

We enjoyed activities like billiards at the hotel and went to the Brevent-Flegere Ski Area for skiing. The location is great with easy access to restaurants and bars. The atmosphere around the bar was lively.

One downside was the ski buses were often full, made getting to the slopes a bit difficult.

This place is clean and charming, the staff is accommodating and the food is delightful, especially the breakfast with a wide range of options, and it's conveniently located near a bus station.
